‘How I Met Your Father’ has been canceled after two seasons.
The TV sitcom – which is a spin-off of ‘How I Met Your Mother’, the hit CBS show – won’t return for a third season on Hulu, according to ‘Entertainment Tonight’.
The show – which starred the likes of Hilary Duff, Francia Raisa, Tom Ainsley, Tien Tran, and Kim Cattrall – first aired in January 2022, and it actually performed relatively well from a TV ratings point of view.
However, ‘How I Met Your Father’ received a mixed reception from critics, and Hulu has already taken to the decision to cancel the show after just two seasons.
Hilary, 35, played Sophie Tompkins – a hopelessly romantic photographer – on the show, and the actress was initially very confident that it would become a huge success.

The outlet went on to claim that Jason had had his « membership revoked after police opened their investigation » over the alleged stalking claims and that the incident had seen him « follow the unnamed woman out into the parking lot » at the gym, where she is said to have « told him to leave her alone » before he repeatedly called her and sent her text messages.
Rihanna suffers heartbreak as cousin dies aged 28
Rihanna’s cousin Tanella Alleyne has died at the age of 28.
The pop superstar’s beloved relative passed away suddenly on August 13 and loved ones paid their respects at Barbados’ St George Parish church for her funeral earlier this week.
Tanella’s death is fresh heartbreak for the family as it comes six years after her brother Tavon was shot dead on Boxing Day following a Christmas celebration while her twin sister also died at the age of 14.
Tanella had over 55,000 Instagram followers and often posted photos with the ‘Umbrella’ hitmaker – who recently welcomed her second child with partner A$AP Rocky.
A cause of death has not been given, but Tanella’s adoptive mother explained that doctors saw a « black mass » after a CT scan that took place prior to her passing.
