How the other half will live in the celebrity-filled Birdcage at the Melbourne Cup

Australia’s glitterati are preparing for one of the most highly-anticipated social events of the year – the Melbourne Cup carnival.

Famous faces, including the likes of Elsa Pataky, Delta Goodrem, Nadia Bartel and Karl Stefanovic are set to attend several race days at Flemington Racecourse, but they won’t be hobnobbing with members of the public.

Instead they’ll be inside the world-famous ‘Birdcage’ which is set to return after a two-year hiatus thanks to Covid.
