The coin has a Proof quality with a detailed coloration and comes in a case, along the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of only 250 pcs worldwide. The reverse of the coin depicts the well-known oil painting by painter Johannes Vermeer, the Girl with a Pearl Earring. It depicts a European girl wearing an exotic dress, an oriental turban and a very large pearl as an earring. All around of this painting, a beautiful Silver frame, with floral details. On the top of the reverse, the inscriptions: “LEGAAT A.A. DES TOMBE”, “2021” – the issue year, “J. Vermeer” – the name of the painter, “1632-1675” – data di nascita/morte. The obverse of the coin depicts a view of the facade of Orsay Museum seen from the Seine, where the artwork is kept and the inscriptions: « REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE » – the issuing country and « 250 EURO » – the face value.
