[ad_1]
The upcoming series of Celebrity Big Brother is just days away from hitting our screens and ITV bosses have already secured a number of names to walk into the iconic house.
And while there are a few people – including TOWIE’s Chloe Brockett and former This Morning star Fern Britton – that have reportedly signed on the dotted line to appear in the reboot of the popular show, it seems there are still a few names that are yet to be confirmed. The show, which is set to air next month on March 4, will be hosted by AJ Odudu and her co-host Will Best.
And according to reports, ITV bosses have splashed out an eye-watering £2million to confirm a string of high-profile names to make this year’s show one to remember. But as usual, an ITV spokesman has claimed all names are simply speculation at this point. However, here we take a look at all the « confirmed » and « rumoured » names set to walk through the iconic doors.
David Potts
Celebrity Big Brother has reportedly signed up Ibiza Weekender favourite, David Potts. The reality TV star, 30, who has also graced the screens of Celebs Go Dating and Celebrity Ghost Trip, appeared on the Spain-based ITV2 series from 2016 to 2020.
Speaking about David, who recently confirmed he lost a whopping three stone, going into the infamous house, a source told The Sun: « David’s great TV and doesn’t hold back – he won’t bite his tongue when it comes to giving his opinion in the house. » A big fan of the Big Brother franchise, the Bolton-born star last rocked up on our screens as a guest on Big Brother’s sister show Late & Live as he gave his views on the latest drama on non-celebrity version of the show.
Sharing photos of himself in the studio at the time, David gushed: « Had such a stunning time on @bbuk late & live last night spilling all the t with these absolute huns! Thanks for having me @itvxofficial. »
Nikita Kuzmin
The Strictly Come Dancing professional looks set to join the Celebrity Big Brother line-up following his success on the recent BBC series with Layton Williams. However, there are fears this signing could lead to the Ukrainian pro quitting the BBC dance competition.
A TV insider told The Sun: “This will send the rumour mill into overdrive, with some already suggesting he may not return to Strictly and is instead making the most of being a rising star. He’ll have been selected by CBB producers as an obvious heartthrob who can spice things up in the house — and maybe even spill some secrets from behind the scenes of Strictly.”
Meanwhile, Layton was recently confirmed as one of the Celebrity Big Brother: Late & Live Houseguests alongside Oti Mabuse and Jordan North.
Linda Robson
The Loose Women star could be swapping her position on the ITV panel for the new Celebrity Big Brother house, joining the likes of Coleen Nolan and Denise Welch. The 65-year-old star previously told the Daily Star she « would be up » for an appearance on the reality show.
She said: « I would be up for it. I like getting away from the house. I don’t like being stuck in so anything to get me out of the house, any holidays. As I’m getting older, I’m 65 now, I don’t want to say no to anything and try different things now. »
Fern Britton
According to reports Fern has signed up for the ITV show and has vowed to lift the lid on her well-known feud with her former co-host Phillip Schofield. Fern presented This Morning for six years alongside Phillip before she was replaced by Holly Willoughby in 2009.
At the time it was speculated that Fern and Phil had fallen out beyond repair after she felt undervalued by ITV bosses, who allegedly favoured Phil. Insiders of the show told The Sun: « She wants to show the public a different side to her — unscripted and unapologetic. She has a lot of stories to tell and she won’t hold back when it comes to her relationships with people like Phil. »
Luke Worley
Married At First Sight fans suspect controversial star of the most recent UK series, Luke Worley could be joining the ITV line-up. After missing MAFS’s reunion show this week, Luke took to Instagram to tease another TV appearance. Luke wrote: « I knew I would be in the drama and I’m not even there. Might as well put me in the Big Brother house next. » The reality TV star was married to Jay Howard on the show but they split after leaving the show as a couple.
Shirley Ballas
The Strictly Come Dancing head judge could be swapping the BBC dance floor for the Celebrity Big Brother house. « The only thing holding Shirley back is the BBC’s position on her taking the job as she wants to keep everyone happy, » a source told The Sun. « ITV think Shirley Ballas would be a sensational signing and they’re keen to get her on board. She is confident, outspoken and would make brilliant television. »

Louis Walsh
The former X Factor judge and pop group manager of bands including Westlife and Boyzone is another name believed to have signed a lucrative deal to join the show. Those close to Louis Walsh know how outspoken he can be which is why he is the perfect name to join this year’s line-up as he may spill the beans on backstage secrets of his time on X Factor.
He would be joining fellow ex-X-Factor star Sharon Osbourne in the house.
Leigh Francis
Despite previously saying « I’d rather rip my eyes out » than head into the Celebrity Big Brother house, fans are convinced he’s joined the line-up. Fans of the Keith Lemon star suspect he has a gap in his diary.
Speculating on social media, they wrote: « He was on his TikTok a couple weeks ago, on a live saying he’s going to be on TV in March, but couldn’t say what it was!! I’m almost sure he’s going in. As Leigh Francis though. » Another agreed: « Keith Lemon doesn’t seem to be up to much nowadays. He’s been on Through the Keyhole and Celebrity Juice on ITV. Nowadays all I see him on is a 32red advert. »
Zeze Millz
The social media star is reportedly heading into the Celebrity Big Brother house and would certainly be sure to speak her mind. Zeze, 34, is famed for her to-the-point interviews with the likes of Akon, N-Dubz and Fireboy DML. Her show bio even reads: « If we can get them in a room with Zeze… It’s gloves off. »
The star has already made TV appearances, having appeared on Good Morning Britain and E4’s Celebrity Cooking School. She was also one of the host of this year’s MOBO Awards.
Bradley Riches
Celebrity Big Brother has reported bagged a leading star from the top Netflix series, Heartstopper. Bradley Riches, who plays the lovable character James McEwan in the worldwide hit show about LGBTQ+ school kids finding their way through life and love, is set to join the reality TV show.
Bradley, 24, who is gay and autistic, hopes his participation will boost representation of minority groups. A source told The Sun: « Brad really wants to fly the flag for autistic, queer people on a huge mainstream show like Celebrity Big Brother. He was diagnosed with autism when he was nine and is passionate about being an advocate for his community. He’s keen to show the world that being neurodiverse isn’t something that holds you back, it’s a superpower. »
ITV bosses are said to be excited to have someone from a show that’s so popular with younger viewers – with the publication noting how Heartstopper is such a big hit with the lucrative demographic that is Gen Z, youngsters that « traditional channels like ITV have struggled to hook in in the past. »
Katie Price
The TV personality has teased a return to the Celebrity Big Brother house after winning the series in 2015. Shortly after the broadcaster confirmed the return of the reality series, Katie dropped a huge hint on social media. Katie Price reposted the official announcement on her Instagram Stories and added several eye emojis, causing fans to speculate a return.
Colson Smith
Coronation Street Colson Smith, who stars as Craig Tinker, could be set to join the line-up after losing an incredible 10 stone in weight in recent years. A source told The Sun: « Big Brother producers have been in talks with Colson for months and it looks like a done deal. »
« They’re thrilled he’s keen to enter the nation’s most famous house because he’s a big name already loved by millions of viewers and they were hellbent on securing someone from Corrie as it’s great cross-promotion for ITV. »
Lauren Simon
The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Lauren Simon was revealed as one of Celebrity Big Brother’s confirmed stars, back in January. The star, who made headlines due to her bitter divorce, has been part of the reality TV show since 2015. Lauren was married to property tycoon Paul Simon for 13 years but the couple split in 2018 after which Lauren received a £ 3 million settlement.
But it didn’t end there as Paul won an appeal after claiming they only had £ 2 million in assets between them and no cash of his own. In February last year, a consent order was approved and Lauren was given the right to live in a £1.8 million mansion in Altrincham for life but only if she agreed to drop all other bids to get Paul’s money.
Marisha Wallace
American actress Marisha could be heading into the ITV show having earned her stripes in Broadway shows Aladdin and Something Rotten. She went on to star as Effie White in Dreamgirls and appeared in Hairspray and Waitress on the West End. Marisha is now rumoured to be heading into the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Gary Goldsmith
Gary Goldsmith is the uncle of Kate Middleton and reportedly landed a huge deal to take part in the reality TV show. But this is not the first time Gary, who is Carole Middleton’s brother, has been keen to be in the spotlight as he wanted to take part in I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! – but was rejected.
Bosses thought his inclusion could embarrass both Prince William and Kate but their decision was made at the final stages. Gary has vowed to discuss all topics while in the house which has pleased show bosses. Aside from being related to royalty, Gary is an IT technician.
Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu
The former Love Island star is one name that is still yet to be confirmed. Ekin-Su found fame on the reality dating show in 2022 after she found love with Davide Saclimenti. With an Instagram following of 3.5 million followers Ekin-Su is bound to cause a stir as it was her fiery personality that won the hearts of Love Island viewers.
Before Celebrity Big Brother, Ekin-Su appeared on the American version of The Traitors alongside US TV royalty Phaedra Parks, Lara Pippen and boxer Deontay Wilder. She was eliminated in the fourth episode. Hopefully, this time around Ekin-Su will have more luck and won’t get voted out.
Jordan North
The former Radio 1 host recently stepped down from his role as a presenter and it looks as though he has also signed to join Celebrity Big Brother. Fellow Radio 1 host Vicky Hope added fuel to the fire when she said: « Christ I’ll miss you so much Jord, what a radio legend and sweet sweet love. Will be voting for you every night on CBB! »
Jordan is to be replaced by podcast host and former Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing – but he has received huge backlash.
Chloe Brockett
The former TOWIE star’s name has been circulating for months regarding joining the show. The reality TV star is not currently filming with the cast in Bali and recently refused to comment on her future on the show. Chloe Brockett was suspended from the ITVBe show after she threw a glass at a co-star.
She’s also set to appear in the upcoming Celeb Ex On The Beach.
Levi Roots
Levi Roots shot to fame when he appeared on Dragons’ Den back in 2007 after he pitched for an investment into his company that produced the now popular Reggae Reggae sauce. A source told the Mirror: « Levi will be great for the Celebrity Big Brother house. He’s got a few exciting projects coming up and he’s such a fun character. » They added: « He’s self-made and is an inspiration to a new generation. »
At the time, Levi wanted a £50,000 investment for a 40 per cent stake in his business selling his sauce. And he was a success as his sauce was stocked in Sainsbury’s. Since then he has been on cooking shows including Ready, Steady, Cook. As reported in the Sunday Times Rich List, he is now worth around £30m.
Sharon Osbourne
The X Factor legend could be joining her former co-star Louis Walsh in the Big Brother house. Show bosses reportedly wanted Sharon to take part in the show, but couldn’t afford her as a fully-fledged housemate.
She is now tipped to enter as a special guest. A source told The Sun: “Sharon is a guest housemate and won’t be going in on launch night. Instead, she will come in once the show has started and will be there for a few days. The fee she wanted was eye-watering and in the end, they struck a deal which meant she would go in for a shorter run. »
Chloe Burrows
Love Island star Chloe Burrows is said to be in talks to appear on the show. Insiders told The Sun that many were keen to see Chloe cause a stir in Love Island All Stars but she had already been in discussions with Celebrity Big Brother bosses.
« She’s had meetings with Celebrity Big Brother producers, who are keen to sign up a Love Islander and think Chloe would fit the bill perfectly, » a source claimed.
« She’s sassy, outspoken and she’s single, so she could potentially enjoy a romance in the house too. Nothing has been signed yet, but the talks have been promising and Chloe is keen. »
Max Bowden
EastEnders actor Max Bowden, best known for his role as Ben Mitchell in the long-running soap, sparked rumours that he would be joining the other famous faces in the Big Brother house.
