Entrepreneur Grant Hughes asked “One Tree Hill” alum Sophia Bush to marry him during a romantic vacation to Lake Como, Italy, in August 2021. Bushed shared a photo of the surprise proposal on Instagram and wrote, “So it turns out that being your favorite person’s favorite person is the actual best feeling on planet Earth #YES.”
Joey Lawrence and Samantha Cope
Joey Lawrence and girlfriend Samantha Cope are engaged, he revealed to Page Six in August.
“When you least expect it, obviously, is like when it usually works right in between all the plans that we make,” he said of his soon-to-be bride. “And I just met the most amazing person ever. Like your best friend and that person you really do share pretty much everything in common with.”
Their engagement comes a little over a year after he filed for divorce from Chandie Lawrence after 15 years of marriage. He and Chandie share two daughters, 15-year-old Charleston and 11-year-old Liberty.

Paul Walker’s daughter, Meadow, announced her engagement to boyfriend Louis Thornton-Allan on Instagram on Aug. 9, showing off her diamond sparkler in a video of herself standing in a pool. “<3 <3 <3 <3,” she wrote in her caption.
Katie Thurston and Blake Moynes
“The Bachelorette” star Katie Thurston accepted Blake Moynes’ proposal during the Aug. 9 season finale of the ABC dating show. Moynes popped the question with a 3-carat Neil Lane sparkler at the end of an emotional episode.
Leanne Hainsby and Ben Alldis
Peloton instructor Ben Alldis popped the question to fellow trainer Leanne Hainsby during a romantic trip to Ibizia.
“31st July 2021 🤍 I can’t believe I get to be your wife @benjaminalldis x,” Hainsby gushed on social media after the proposal.
Ty Pennington and Kellee Merrell

“Vanderpump Rules” star Scheana Shay is engaged to Brock Davies, E! News reports. The couple first sparked engagement speculation in late July when she stepped out wearing a wearing a massive ring on her left hand.
The pair welcomed their daughter, Summer Moon Honey Davies, in April.

Kansas City Chiefs star Tyreek Hill got engaged to girlfriend Keeta Vaccaro on the Fourth of July.
The athlete popped the question and when Vaccaro said yes they shared a kiss in front of a beautiful fireworks display.

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Saffire Matos
“Jersey Shore” star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro popped the question to his girlfriend Saffire Matos over Father’s Day weekend at a private family party in Los Angeles. Coincidentally, his ex Jen Harley was arrested the same day in Las Vegas.
“Ronnie has been taking this time to work on himself and his daughter,” a source close to Ortiz-Magro told People. “They’re both really happy for this next chapter. His health and happiness are what is most important.”
David Weintraub and Hailey Hoffman
Celebrity manager David Weintraub proposed to Hailey Hoffman in Mexico, Page Six exclusively revealed. The pair celebrated their engagement with a private fireworks show and performance from a Mariachi band.
The couple had been dating three years after meeting in Malibu, Calif.

Just weeks after his younger sister Ariana Grande got married in a secret ceremony, performer Frankie Grande made his own moves in the love department, popping the question to actor boyfriend Hale Leon on June 8.
Frankie proposed to Leon in an over-the-top virtual reality event witnessed by friends and family, including Frankie and Ariana’s mother, Joan Grande, People reported.
Frankie and Hale started dating in 2019 after meeting at a line dancing bar.
Luke Hemmings and Sierra Deaton
5 Seconds of Summer singer Luke Hemmings announced his engagement to musician Sierra Deaton in June. “With shaking hands but a full heart I proposed to my best friend earlier this year,” he wrote on Instagram. “I love you Thao and I can’t imagine my life without you ❤️.”
Deaton added on her own Instagram page, “it was fun keeping this a secret for so long, but my heart is nearly bursting at the seams. can’t wait for forever 🤍.”
The pair were first linked in 2018.
Mark Ronson and Grace Gummer
Mark Ronson confirmed in June that he’s engaged.
While he didn’t name his fiancée, his announcement comes after Page Six published photos of Ronson smooching his girlfriend Grace Gummer as she wore a huge diamond ring on her left ring finger.
The couple reportedly started dating last year.
Courtney Stodden and Chris Sheng
In May, Courtney Stodden announced they are engaged to entrepreneur Chris Sheng on Instagram.
The model captioned a boomerang video of their diamond ring, “I said yes …OH and the ring made me gag it’s so beautiful.”
Sheng shared that he believes this is the first time he and Stodden are experiencing “unconditional love,” adding, “We may not always like each other but will ALWAYS love and respect each other.”
